Service Description
I know what it feels like to not know where to start. To have a gut feeling that something is going on with your child — and not know what to do with it. To sit with a folder full of evaluation results and not know what they actually mean for your family. To walk out of a school meeting unsure of what was decided, what you agreed to, or whether you asked the right questions. To feel like you're the only one holding all the pieces together, and nobody told you this was going to be your job. That's where this call starts. The Discovery Call is a free, 30-minute conversation — no agenda, no pitch, no pressure. It's a chance for us to talk about where your family is right now, what you're navigating, and whether working together makes sense. Here's what it is: two parents talking. One of whom has been exactly where you are — and has spent years figuring out what nobody tells you. I'm Lindsey. I'm a mom of three very different kids — 14, 12, and 9. For the first seven years of parenting, I thought I had a pretty good handle on things. I had systems. Rules worked. Routines worked. And then we got our first diagnosis. And then our second. And everything I thought I knew got very quietly humbled. What followed was years of research, late-night Google spirals, evaluation reports I didn't understand, IEP meetings I walked out of confused, and a lot of trial and error. We figured it out. But it took longer than it should have. And I spent a lot of that time wishing someone who had already walked this road could just sit down with me and say: here's what you need to know. Here's what actually helps. Here's your next step. That's what I want this call to be for you. What we might talk about: → What's going on with your child and what's been tried so far → Whether an evaluation makes sense and how to request one → Where to start if you just got a diagnosis and don't know what to do next → What your child might be entitled to at school and how to ask for it → Whether working together would actually help your family There is no minimum. No obligation. No right or wrong reason to book this call. That feeling in your gut is reason enough. Book the call. Come as you are. We'll figure out together where to go from there. A few things to know: I am not a therapist, psychologist, doctor, or educational attorney. I won't diagnose your child or give legal or medical advice. What I am is a parent who has done an enormous amount of research, made a lot of mistakes, and learned what actually moves the needle for families like ours. I look forward to talking with you. 🌿
